pas de sleep

got to sleep at 6am this morning, after trying from about midnight. spent the night coughing pointlessly and feeling like my throat was getting smaller and smaller. there's also intense phlegm issues, but i won't go into those.

so i missed another evolution lecture today, but laura went so i can borrow her notes again. the evolution lectures have gone kind've boring anyway, now that we've got a new lecturer. i was also meant to meet al for lunch, but we're going to do it tomorrow instead.

i haven't got a great deal planned for the rest of today. there's still some work that i have to finish, and once i've finished writing this i'm going to go over to costcutters and get some bits and bobs for lunch. might have a sandwich or something, push the boat out.

aww i'm going to have a crisp sandwich.

michelle's lent me cinderella on video to watch this afternoon, as i've only seen it the once. disney's fantastic for illness, as it makes you believe that everything is fantastic in the world, even if it isn't. plus i don't know the cinderella songs, so there'll be some new words for me to learn. woohoo!

i'm off to see The Magdalene Sisters at the union on wednesday night, which i'm really looking forward to. it's possibly the most depressing and intense film i have ever watched, but i still love it.
