back in nottingham

i'm in nottingham this weekend... haven't been here since we moved, which was way back on 5th september. it's cool, i'm stopping at lindz's, and have been having much fun.

coming down my train was delayed by 45 mins, and we were stuck on a platform in the middle of nowhere, so i was freezing. the train was then dead full, but i ploughed my way through and got a seat, thank god. journey was very uneventful, and when i got to notts i headed through town to my gran's. we had fish and chips and chatted, and then she dropped me off at lindz's. lindz was at work so i sat talking to linda and len for ages (mark was there too), then watched telly for a while.

lindz got back at half eight, so we went over to the video shop and got Ghost Ship and some beer. the film was actually really good, and the beer was fab too.

today i got up late, watched a lot of crappy telly and then met lindz at the bus stop. we went into notts, got an amazing sausage roll from gregg's, and then went to Squares. we met lise and her boyfriend there, had some drinks and then now we're at my gran's, waiting to eat. she's cooking something amazing, i can't wait.

it was fantastic seeing lise again, and lindz. i'm really enjoying this weekend so far, bar my great-gran being ill. however, i don't really want to go into that now (tales of hospitals and her going kind've insane and general badness) so i'll write about it next week when i'm back in sheffield.
