bad girls, broken computers and bollocks songs

my computer decided to break today, leaving me totally stranded. i booted it up this morning and was welcomed with a blue screen and FATAL SYSTEM ERROR. thanks. spent the day filing, sending off incomplete deliveries and listing stock from the returns boxes. big lots of excitement, but it did get me away from the ever insistent phone and endless customers whining on about how their box hasn't arrived yet. boring, tell someone who cares.

four and a half weeks to go, counting each and every hour.

dave was up on saturday, and we went to manchester for a bit again. it was sunny (yay!), and i bought myself a big ice-cream from the van with chocolate sauce. my god it was nice, and i'm sure i looked like the greediest cow in existance shoving it down my throat without bothering to breathe. managed to not buy anything, which is good news for my bank balance. dave decided at one point that he was the fastest starter from a red traffic light ever, to which i patted him on the back and said "well done, you beat the learner driver, go you!"

feeling very peaceful tonight, sat listening to tori amos. managed to fall asleep in front of the telly for the last three nights, so hoping i won't again tonight. aww, i watched the last bad girls last night and it was pure fantasticness. i can't believe for a minute that jim fenner's finally been done in... you just know he's going to come back. i have to wait until next year for the next season now, seriously thinking about blowing some wages on getting the 5th series on dvd, even though i strictly can't afford it.

is it criminally wrong for me to really like the natasha beddingfield song, when all logic, reason and taste tell me to hate it, hate it, HATE IT?

it rained all day today.

you know what? i'm going to cut this entry short now and see how much bad girls 5 is off amazon. damn you bad girls, i spend so much money on curbing my obsession for you...
