weekend, dave and busted

i'm in a crazy bouncing mood today, mainly because it's the weekend and everything is good right now. i was up at half eight, because i couldn't sleep and didn't want to wind up with a headache, and therefore got to see GB win the rowing gold. aww it was such a good race too, so exciting. felt quite patriotic when they played the national anthem.

my sister's gone to leeds today to see helen, and my dad's at john's helping him lay his kitchen floor. ciaran's gone to see his dad, so i'm on my tod right now. dave will be here soon though... we'll probably go into town again. there's nothing better than driving down a big road in the sunshine, with good music in the background, talking to someone who you haven't seen in ages with the breeze blowing in your hair. i hope dave hurries up.

my sneaky olympics watching has been discovered at work, damnit. someone took over my computer from head office, as the server was running really slowly (oops) and realised. luckily they think it's one of the warehouse workers going on my computer when i'm away from my desk, so i'm safe. still, i'm gonna be majorly bored at work now. there's only so much filing a girl can do.

yesterday at work was so hectic - i'd only been away one day, but it had really stacked up. also the pickers and packers keep arsing up the deliveries, so i'm getting loads more returns calls than usual. tres stressful, thank god i've only got 4 more weeks there until i'm free. apparently nevil (eeeevil geordie) is getting someone in soon who's gonna replace me once i've gone, so i'll be training them soon. hopefully they won't be retarded or have 5 arms.

i have the killers - mr brightside on right now, god i love this song so much. i miss sheffield, i want to go back there now damnit, back to g floor and watching angel in my room with about four other people, eating salt & vinegar pringles and dr pepper, while people stuff my bin full of their crap and leave empty bottles all over my floor.

only four weeks till i'm back there... god i miss them all so much.
