notts, neighbours and computers

my weekend at notts was nice, even though i didn't get to see anyone. went into town on sunday morning with my gran and bought a couple of pairs of jeans; we then bought a huge ice-cream each from thorntons and sat on king street eating them. mine was chocolate and orange, it was orgasmic.
my gran forced me to eat absolutely loads of food though, easily enough for three people. she won't take no for an answer either... she is banrah after all.
work wasn't bad today - started training up denise, who'll be taking over from me once i leave (13 days to go, woohoo!). didn't get a lot done because of this, and also because i was stuck doing wages, yaawn. really can't wait to get back to uni and start learning about the stuff i'm interested in, even if it does mean having to write endless lab reports and going to boring tutorials.
apparently my computer that craig's building is up and running! it's gonna be the best computer in the world too, i've already decided. better than this one anyway, which has resorted to going back to the "easy access" style, ie. layout for retards, with BIG BUTTONS AND TEXT.
according to the neighbours website (shut up) there's soon to be a gay storyline. go neighbours go. of course it involes the resident troubled teen skye, which probably translates to skye kissing another girl once, getting all worked up about it and then realising that she doesn't actually like her after all, she was just "confused".
neighbours is infinitely better than eastenders however, which is just one long frustrated, depressing yawn.
pinned to one of the computers this morning was the sign: do not pick any BME306, this style is irrigular. ha!
so hungry right now, think i may actually fall over. it took us three hours to get home from notts last night, as there was an accident on the M62. ended up trawling through halifax and other deadend places near rotherham. god don't let me ever end up near those towns again.
must...eat...something...now.
