seeing out the year

i had to write an entry on the last day of 2004, it seemed pogniant. i'm pretty sure that i haven't got enough to write about for a full entry though, so this may be a little shorter than usual.

i haven't done hardly any revision today... i'm hoping after this entry i'll sit down and do a good couple of hours. i've actually started playing the piano again, well learning new stuff anyway. it's very relaxing, except i've lost a lot of my technique, so can't pick up things as quickly as i could.

puff daddy - i'll be missing you came on the radio whilst i was making lunch, which caused a few tears. both the anniversaries are coming up soon... i haven't reminded anyone of the dates because... well just because it's me, and i hate having attention drawn to myself. plus, awkweard conversation, not one i'd enjoy having: "by the way, the 13th and 15th are both anniversaries for me my mum and bernie died, so i'll be a bit comatosed on those days." yeah, i'll pass.

my sister's currently somewhere south seeing friends - i can't remember exactly, only that it began with a W and is 7 hours on the train from manchester. they're going round the pubs and bars for new year's eve dressed as foxhunters... if that's not an incitement to get beaten up i don't know what is. al's taken my little cuddly fox that i've had for years though, so maybe that'll soften her cause.

we've bought a new computer, finally. got it off ebay for �365. this computer is so old and decrepid i have to really hold myself back from kicking it every 30 seconds. currently i am listening to eva cassidy - somewhere over the rainbow... god i am so emotional today. i think it's a combination of stuff coming up soon and the end of my MEGA period. no doubt there's little oestrogens and progesterones bouncing around everywhere, with a few LHs and FSHs for good measure. yes i've just revised reproduction in BMS205, good guess.

i think revision's calling, though i'm really not in the mood. happy new year everybody, i hope 2005 is a good one for all of you x
