weekend at notts

i'm in nottingham at the moment, visiting my gran, lise and lindz. went to lise's last night with lindz, where we had a disney night and got drunk on cranberry red squares. cranberry red squares are a deceptively pleasant colour... in reality they ming like a bitch, as we swiftly found out.

my gran appears to believe that hanging onto the steering wheel with one hand and pointing and looking at things with the other hand acceptable driving behaviour. she'd also slow down if there was something interesting to look at either side of her.

she's fantastic though, my gran. we went to ziggi's yesterday afternon, after i got the train down to notts, and got my ball dress. it's a simple black one, very pretty. it's so much fun just trying on dress after dress, i could seriously have done it every day for a week. we also got me some sandals to go with it.

it snowed lots thursday night in sheffield, about four inches in all i think. i got to crunch through it friday morning, it was like being a kid again... if i'd have had enough time i'd have stopped to build a snowman. bitch hill was not fun, and i kept sliding backwards, and the buses were all seriously delayed because of all the retards that thought that the falling of snow definately required the car.

we're off to see return of the king tonight, as i'm obsessed with it and my gran hasn't seen it. should be a bon night indeed.
