no advent calendar

it's the third of december already, and i still haven't bought an advent calendar. i tried to explain to my dad that there's an unwritten rule that someone else has to buy you an advent calendar, but he appears to have ignored me. i'll have to get paddy to get me one.

i'm home at the moment - decided to escape the throws of g floor for a while. so glad i came home, it's been lovely just spending time with dad, bernie and myself. went to the traff yesterday and bought some new jeans, and the extended LOTR dvd... i am overdraft queen and proud.

seeing paddy tonight... we were going to go out for the meal but i feel knacked, so we'll probably just stay in and watch a film. also have a load of work to do for tutorial tomorrow, great stuff.

thinking about seeing paddy is giving me slight gooey feelings... this can only be a good thing.

must ring lindz before i go home, being as it'll be free. cannot believe that we only have 2.5 weeks left at uni, god that's totally mad. i can still remember my first day vividly, and now here i am 11 weeks later, and with actual friends too! saying that though, i can't a) wait for christmas vacation and b) wait for next year, when i get to live in a house, eat real food and do dissections. because everyone loves the smell of formaldehyde, yes?

okay, i shall scoot off now, as i haven't finished watching LOTR yet, and am determined to before i go home.
