polish + wooden floors = accidents

it turns out that polishing my wooden floor (due to boredom last weekend) is not such a great idea, as i now spend all my time nearly falling over it. i have no idea how to make it less shiny either, other than sandpapering it down.

i had two exams this week - bms152 went pretty badly, like the ones after christmas, but bms153 went much better. except for the fact that calculator sat right behind me; i swear that girl has some kind of holly radar microchipped into her head. after the second exam on thursday paddy and i went to the interval, and drank a big pitcher of pimms outside in the sunshine. now i have no idea what pimms is made of, but i do know it's fantastic. i was also really pleased with myself for accepting a straw, as it meant i didn't get any of the orange seeds (they stuck a load of fruit in the pitcher) in my mouth. good tactical move? i think so.

anyway, i got pretty damn drunk from it, then caught the bus home and bounced around the corridor for a bit. i then made cheese on toast with way too much cheese. michelle then decided to make the most disgusting meal possible, ie. pasta, mayo, cheese and burger sauce, yes that's BURGER SAUCE.

however, this week has also been angst week, as it was the week that mel broke up with matt, as she realised that it wasn't gonna work. thank god though, because iain's so much better than matt. matt's being a total wanker about it though, telling her he's gonna ruin her life like she's ruined his, and that he hopes she loses everything, along with bitching about her to anyone who'll listen and acting like a total martyr. come on, she was your best friend for a very long time, and besides you were only going out for three and a half weeks, get over yourself, plus when you were together you were a shit boyfriend by never giving her any time and being mean to her when you were around. so he's been giving mel a really hard time and she's been pretty upset these past few days.

to top it all off she found out that iain had a one night stand whilst they weren't together, which freaked her out even more, but she's currently in newcastle trying to sort things out with him, so i'm hoping everything goes smoothly and that they get back together.

i've spent the weekend so far being a big loser and looking for more harry potter related stuff. found some clips from the film on a website last night and nearly started hyperventilating i was so excited. i'm off to notts next weekend to see my gran, and we're gonna go see it on the sunday night, because i can tell that deep down she's dying to see it, and finds ron strangely cute too.

now i'm going to go watch some more lord of the rings, before making something snacky to eat. i'm thinking of something in the chocolate area.
