another week done

i tried to write an entry last night, but for some reason the site was down, or wouldn't let me add one at least. still, i'm here now.

my pay cheque came yesterday, which made me very happy. work this week has actually been much better - now i'm on returns it's a lot more interesting, and i'm learning my job more and more, so don't feel stupid having to ask how to do things all the time. bloody neville (boss) sent out an email yesterday, telling us that from now on we had to answer the phone like this: "good morning/good afternoon, americana international, [your name] speaking, how can i help?" i tried saying that all when someone rang and you sound frigging ridiculous, as well as it taking about ten seconds to get it all out.

had another big bitch headache on thursday, had to come home at lunchtime - i'd done overtime the night before though, so i won't lose too much money. stupid evil hayfever, i hate it. anyway, it finally went at about four in the morning - thanks head. speaking of night time, for the last three nights i've been having irritating circular dreams about looking for pick notes... i've seriously been at work too long.

my sister's now home again, and enjoying her last free time before she starts her new job on monday. with alice, free time means literally doing nothing; i think she spent the whole of yesterday lying on the sofa and watching cricket.

dave's coming up today at some point, so we're gonna go into manc city centre and arse around there for the afternoon. i may buy a dvd too, seeing as i haven't bought one in forever. not 100% sure how you drive into the city though (that's so sad, seeing as i've now lived here almost a year) so i might have to embarrassingly take the A to Z.

i've got a cold... it's very boring.
