broken wall

just gotten back from the gym, although i didn't do a great deal because i was tired and still not quite awake.

i am enjoying this weekend muchly, as i don't have tons of work to do and can doss around the house instead. michelle and i decided to re-arrange the living room. we managed to get the sofa into the dining room fine, but then the chair was a bit bigger. we shoved it through as hard as we could and then heard a scrunching, creaking sound. looked down and one of the wheels of the chair had made a crater in the wall, after firstly covering the doorpaint in black marks. we then totally panicked, as the damn chair was wedged in the doorway and there was pieces of plaster all over the floor. thankfully vicky and aaron came back at that point, after going out to buy quorn and tortillas, and aaron managed to wrestle the stupid chair through the doorway.

it looks a lot better downstairs now, but there's a big hole in one wall and a chip off the opposite one. it'd be just our luck for perilli to come round for a spot check.

anyway, after the chair disaster we cooked chicken fajitas, which were lovely, and then watched telly for most of the evening. michelle decided that she needed Feasts at about eightish, so me , her and rich toddled off in the car to tesco metro, only to discover that they didn't sell them. to compensate we bought a caterpillar cake and coke... cashier guy must've thought we were a right bunch of losers.

rounded off the evening by watching Conan The Destroyer... comedy film. however, it did remind me that my arms are starting to get a little blokeish from the gym... rich's started calling me angela schwarzenegger. isn't that just the most attractive thing in the world?

i shall probably have to do some work today, although i'm starting to feel sluggish and sleepy already. i went out for a drink with paddy friday night on a side note, which was highly pleasant. the grindstone is definately the best pub on our road, it just takes forever to walk there.
