first snow

for some reason my period has decided to appear two weeks early, so consequently i am the most hormonal bitch on the planet right now. everything that's been bad has really pissed me off today, not least the fact that the space concert tonight was cancelled due to "illness", and has now been postponed until 1st april. i was looking forward to that so much, and the wankers go cancel it.

i went to the gym in the afternoon, hoping to supress my rage, and it worked whilst i was actually at the gym, but as soon as i left, and had to walk up conduit mountain in the rain, the feelings of shitness returned.

however, at about 5 o'clock the rain turned to snow, and it's been snowing ever since. snow is always so exciting to watch, especially when you can see it all lit up in the glow of the streetlights. it's settled too, a few inches of it, so after a tea of chilli, which me and vicky cooked, me, vicky, mel and em went to the park at the top of the road and built a snowman. it was exceptionally pretty out, the park could seriously have been on the front of a christmas card, and we gave the snowman a penis in honour of richard, who had his pierced on monday.

yes that's right, he got it pierced. he said he'll show it me once it's healed, which i'm totally holding him to. he described the whole operation in great detail... it sounds really painful, and apparently bled a lot after. i feel i can now talk to him about periods now and recieve complete sympathy from him.

my hands were freezing and wet once we got home, so i had a big cup of coffee, which helped. i'm now sat trying to get up to date with my notes, but am really just pissing around on the net. i shall go prepare a snack soon too, as i seem to have fallen into the habit of having four meals a day. it can't be good for a person.

ooh i got 60% in my anatomy exam, which kicks serious ass. i made a few stupid mistakes though, so i can only do better in the one before christmas. plus we'll only have four weeks' worth of stuff to be tested on, so fingers crossed. we did the GI tract yesterday, which smelt a little odd and contained way too much green bile for my liking.

amy's been to a total of two lectures all week. i worry that she's not gonna pass her exams, and am also getting annoyed because it's blatently down to laziness. me and kull now play a game of "which-amy-excuse-is-it-today?" whenever we meet up for lectures. it's especially annoying when she then demands all my lecture notes from the lectures that she's already copied down from the net, because she blatently knows that notes from the actual lecture are always much better. bah, she better turn up tomorrow.
