feel-good
3rd January 2005, 10:16 pm

i'm playing they might be giants - birdhouse in your soul yet again, as it's one of the best feel-good songs that i know. i just watched bend it like beckham, which is also very feel-good, and so consequently i'm feeling good.

have done hardly any revision today, which i do feel bad about. i did a bit on respiration, but it's so tedious that i have to have buffy on in the background. saying that, season 6 is pretty tedious too, so they kind've cancel each other out, and blatently no one else cares about this at all.

playing red hot chilli peppers - give it away now, it reminds me of work because this track was on the new minidisc that i'd just made then, and consequently played every day on the way to and from the warehouse.

my hope of the states cd - the free one i got at the gig - is currently being sold (by me, obviously) on ebay, and is at the kick ass total of 23.03, with 1 day and 17 hours to go. go team me!

i have hiccoughs, and though i may be smug with the knowledge of why hiccoughs occur, it still doesn't solve the problem of getting rid of them. maybe i'll do that opposite-side-of-the-glass thing, that's always interesting.

blatently nothing exciting has happened to me today. ooh wait, me and my dad went out on his motorbike for a bit. it's absolutely freezing out there, my legs were completely numb by the end of it and had trouble carrying my weight, but it was still huge amounts of fun. hurtling down the duel-carriageways at 80 mph with the wind blowing your hair back, and the chin strap of your helmet digging into your throat, and the windforce pulling you backwards whilst your hands are cramped from holding onto the carrier behind you, and your trainers feeling warm from resting them on the exhausts rather than the back footrests, and the air streaming through your helmet and freezing your face is the most incredible feeling in the world, and i recommend it to anyone. and jesus christ, that sounded so melodramatic.

okay, time to clear out. i think my sister's sending me thought vibes that go something like, "get off the pissing computer, you're always on it and i just want to check my goddamn email".
